Music

I have a varied taste in music. I think I have an OK ear, as in quizzes and competitions I often only need to hear the first few notes or bars before identifying the track and artist, but regrettable I have no talent whatsoever on the performing side. I took lessons and played guitar during the 70’s but I was truly dreadful.

After Hans‘ death I find it a bit difficult “just” listening to music, i.e. without doing anything while listening. I suppose being left alone with the emotions raised by music and lyrics is too much for me at the stage I am at now. Hans was a big fan of Frank Ocean and one of his favourite songs was Forrest Gump. He would walk around the house trying to whistle the ending, failing miserably – it sounded terrible. Besides the music I need to instruct Body Combat the only other song on my iPhone is Forrest Gump. I will cry when I hear it, but some times, that is what I need.

Here is my top-25 list of artists and tracks. Music that I would have on my playlist and  listen to over and over again:
