Bridge

I grew up in a family where everyone played bridge. My mum and dad would regularly have friends over for an evening’s game, and they played in the local bridge club. My sister is undoubtedly the most proficient bridge player in my family. Though I did become a reasonably good player, playing “Blue Club” which is a tremendously fun but somewhat complicated system, I never reached her level. Instead I focused on my natural flair for structure and rules and became an international tournament director. At the peak of THAT career I ran the east half of the Danish 1st Division for a couple of seasons and I was one of the Tournament Directors selected to run Nordic Championship hosted by Denmark in Helsingør 1984.
