Flyvning

Jeg bestod min PPL (Private Pilot’s License) i april 2002 og købte en andel i G-BPIU, en Piper Warrior PA-28 med base i Fairoaks, der er en lille lufthavn i Surrey ca. 10 km syd for Heathrow. Senere købte jeg en andel i G-BJCW, en Piper Saratoga PA-32, også baseret i Fairoaks. Saratogaen er et dejligt fly. Plads til 6 personer, optrækkelig hjul og med variabel vinkling af propel. Det gjorde det til et ”komplekst” fly, men når det så er sagt, var det relativt simpelt at flyve.
